Who remembers when Matt, John Oldefendt and Joe Jacober came to school as the Pointer Sisters? Matt always made me laugh.

Hey Mary,
Thanks for that memory!! I actually do remember! What a bunch of fun and crazy guys. Matt was quite humerous and a great guy. Sad that he is gone. I'm sure there are many who miss him.

Matt was one of the most sincere, down to earth guys whose heart was a mountain of sweetness and unfortunately it was his heart that failed him in the end...not fair! I will always remember him from the 10 year reunion in which he and I talked for hours after the dinner. He knew then he didn't have much time left but I can say this for sure - he was extremely grateful for every moment he had on this earth with his family, who meant everything in the world to him.

Hello.  My sister, Janel (Saguaro Class of 1979, I'm Saguaro Class of 1978) found my "Pueblo Sunset 1974" class book in a box that has been sitting in her attic for decades, which she mailed to me and I received today.  Now, to be honest, I have very little recollection of those days and didn't even remember that such a class book existed, but one of the people who signed my book was Matt!  He wrote "John, you know you're weird, but you're all right."  LOL.  So naturally, I had to see who he was.  But it seems he's in heaven now, so I'm unable to see his pic to refresh my memory as to who he was.  He and I must have been well acquainted for him to write something like that in my little book, and he wrote in large handwriting as well, lol.  Bless Matt, he is gone but not forgotten.
