mimi-- i not only remember eddy krutel, and his sisters lynn and patti, who used to babysit my sister and me, but in 4th grade he sang a song that i hear in my head to this day -- the kukaburra song, gum tree and all.
wonder what ever happened to the whole family? did you live on san miguel/crestwood? and glad to know you knew about the hot springs...

susan-- is this a ploy to throw us off the trail??? or did you intentionally send that cayce msg onto everyone? we'll never know -- clever as a fox...

Just because we're 47-48 now doesn't mean the principal at Saguaro is going to say yes to vandals! LOL!! Now he just thinks we're a bunch of grown up kids...which is quite right on!! Nevertheless, no matter our age, it HAS TO BE COVERT! You can't get permition for that, and even if you could, it would take all the fun out of it!...Darn, wish I lived there!

on a personal note (in a forum kinda way) --i'm off to CA for awhile. my dad was just admitted to the hospital in Newport Bch - he's been doin' the cancer dance for a year now. we've been way amazed that he's held on this long - 4th stage lung. might not be as connected, but i'll try and check in. all warm thoughts are welcomed...

Jeff Hoganson Mimi - Yes it is, and the chicken salad sandwich is still the best anywhere! I remember Ken Comess and Tracy Platt were two of Joe Casella's first employees when he opened in 1977. Joe is still there everyday with a good word and a handshake.
