Mimi, Where have I been the past 2 months? I made the occasional cameo on this site, but I guess I was having so much fun reading the strange directions the conversations were going in that I didn't chime in very much.
Anywhoooo, I'm very glad that we'll continue to keep this site for our antics, of which there is a never-ending supply.
We're going tuuuubing tomorrow. First time I've gone since high school. Can't wait for the freezing water and the sunburn! We're taking 3 teenage girls who have never gone. We're planning on hitting the water about 10:30am if anyone else is up for it.

I would like to make a public formal apology, which is overdue, to Casey Evans.
Richard (Dick) Payne is a fictitious character. He was made up by someone other than me, to pull a prank on Casey (of whom I didn’t choose either).
However, I take the majority of the blame, and full responsibility for my part. After I was told about it, and saw how lame it was going, I kicked it up a couple notches..(without making excuses) I thought, “what’s a prank without pushing the victim just over the edge before the big reveal"??
I told Casey that I will NEVER participate in another prank aimed toward her, as to win back her trust.
Casey, I am truly sorry. It was not meant to be malicious, and I thought you would laugh about it once all was said and done. I was off the mark, and I'm really sorry I hurt you.

First of all I to called Casey Thursday before the reunion started to let her know that Dick was a joke gone bad and that I was sorry. I was under the impression that she was in on the joke with Lisa.
When we made Dick Payne up it wasn't to harass Casey, in fact we did it for a joke because the message forum was boring and everyone for two weeks was talking about Gilligan's Island and what character they would play. As all of you know from reading his profile and kids names.
It wasn't until 5:00 A.M. Thursday morning when I got on the forum and read what had been written the night before and went oh shit. I immediately deleted the post from Dick Payne & Lisa and then called Casey at 7:30 that morning. I to hope that Casey will start talking to us again, as I never meant to hurt her as stated before I thought she was in on it.
Larry, Dane really is real person, he went to Kiva and Saguaro. He was at the reunion both nights and even at the after hour party at the Villa pool.

We just got back from the river and are FRIED to a crisp. A lot of fun, but I don't think I'll be able to move the rest of the night. The river sucked the life out of me

Kim, sorry you got burned..I know how that hurts! I think you have reeally white skin like me..You gotta be carefull! About 10 yrs. ago I developed a basal cell carcinoma on my chest..wasn't invasive and all clear once removed, but still scary!

Thanks for the sunburn support everyone! I've aloed and lipton tea-ed (does anyone know about that remedy?) I was actually pretty careful, but if you miss one spot, the sun seeks it out and attacks...The weather was perfect today, though. The on & off clouds kept the sun from beating down on us relentlessly the whole day, so it made it really nice. Very relaxing. I'd forgotten how relaxing it could be...until the drunk group pulls up alongside you and asks to trade you "tits for a beer." What would a tubing trip be without that?
Lisa, Sorry you're missing your purple sandals. Check with the hotel Lost and Found. I'm missing some brand new Prescriptives Lip liner and Lipstick--I suppose Shane has those too. If you see a suspicious masculine-looking woman at the race track on Memorial Day, you might want to double check for Shane's location!
just to let you all know that i dont find it funny at all to have my favorite pair of purple shoes come up missing espicially when they were purchased just for the reunion,like my back says REPENT,oh yea i never had any purple shoes,maybe i need to REPENT,you kids are to funny,just another way to say glad were all still talking and will continue to as time passes on.Love you all your all special in your own way,thats what makes the SHS class of 79 ROCK, YOU GUYS.
