Plop..Plop....Fizz...Fizzz....Oh what a relief it is!

Those are some "broad claims"...indeed!

Happy Birthday Cathy!!!!!

Shane, remember I told you back in Feb...when the "Market" was going to turn around. I believe that it was "June".

May numbers are interesting.

Cayce,
I can't say I don't blame your daughter for not wanting to drink the Alka Seltzer. I have drank it twice in my lifetime and it has always made me sick to my stomach and my Dad made me drink it. I'm glad she's going to be able to walk at graduation. Take lots of pictures!!

Mi, You'll be 50 in 18 months?? I'm just about to turn 48 in a couple of months. Are you the older women... You will have to come back to Scottsdale for the Fourth. Maybe we can do another Taco Pool Party!! :))

Dave Dirren

MiMi - No pics of your new orange sandals?????

Shane - How was the party at Grinding Stone? We went to the rim with some Payson friends so Colleen could try out her new bike. (Honda CRF150R) She loves it! No more quads for her. She has graduated to 2 wheels and thru away the training wheels. Sorry Chip, looks like you are out numbered!

Shane,
I'll make some cevichi?? With shrimp of course.

Mi Mi,
Sam loved his cousin..

Where has Dane been?? Did he make it back from Mexico??

Mimi,
What is this crap about turning 50. You will NEVER be 50. You will alway be 29. That's T-W-E-N-T-Y N-I-N-E. Standard answer from now on, okay ladies?

Dave Dirren

Mimi - Great pic. You are too funny. I'll show Colleen tonight.

Mimi...

Sorry I am down the line from your lyric question... I was out.

The song is by Norah Jones... I think the song is titled "What Am I to You". Norah Jones is her two middle names. She is the daughter of renowned 'infomercial' music artist...Ravi Shankar... who plays the sitar. Now how is that for WBI... worthless bits of information!!

I think she does or did live in Flagstaff or Sedona at one time... but I may be guessing.

By the way... if you are looking for anymore shoes, I have some I could send you. Not that you need to take them... but if you are starting a collection of Class of '79 shoes, I am willing of offer my share.

Enjoy!!

Andy McClure

Ahhhhh...

I got the song right, but the artist from Flag wrong. I knew it was someone like that. Oh well... YES RAVI albums are sold on late night TV... not that I have ever bought one... but I am holding out for that Barry Manilow-Captain and Tenille boxed set I saw the other night!!!

Do you need the shoes??

05/28/09 11:49 PM #1192

Dave Dirren

Andy - I also heard that Norah Jones father played the sitar with the Beatles at one time. Not sure if that is true or not but I thought I'd throw it out there if anyone knows for sure?

Attention: Robert Lacivita, Shane Hamilton, Mark Hutchings & ??????

So, .... I go to Rocky Pointe this weekend with a group of friends ....

Sunday night we find ourselves having fun at a local hot spot.

As we are leaving I help to entice what appeared to be 3 single middle aged gals to go party with us.

They oblidge and introduce themselves as Susan, Amy and Terri.

At one point we end up at a strip bar and one of our new found friends chooses to show off her amateur strip abilities.

Later we end up at our place endulging in the obligatory laughter, sex, drugs and rock and roll.

After I build a bonfire on the beach my girlfriend and I make use of the vacant shoreline ... upon our return, everyone is asleep, so I choose to stay up and take in the beautiful sunrise.

Around 5:30 am Monday morning I walk in and notice one of our new found friends awake looking to escape.

oh hell,......i gotta close for now,... but i will finish this story later.....stay tuned.

Mimi - didn't check out the shoe pix yet. The suspense is killing me...

Dave - When I lose all the two-wheelers in the tight turns, we'll see who's got the advantage... :-)

All this 50 year old talk has me feeling tired, so I'm crashing. Up at 5 am again tomorrow.

Later

Do tell Dane!

Andy, nicely done!....

Mimi don't you have homework to do?

Just so everyone knows....(Dave and Colleen) I am a true "two wheeler"....( I hope to ride with you guys and your kids one day.) You two are inspiring to me.

But I have to say Larry was "rippin ass"...last weekend on the mountain with us!

"LARRY KIX ASS"......

Thanx Mr. Robert (or Rbt. as Shane would call you)! I still need to see the actual cliff you rode off at 4-Peaks!

Anyone that's in Phoenix - stop by Iguana Mack's Saturday night 5/30, Alma School near Ray on the east side. My band PRESENCE is playing at 9:30 pm. We've been off for a few weeks, so come out to hear our "paid-rehearsal"! You can sing along if you know the words and especially if the lead singer doesn't!!

Robert Lacivita

O.K....this is in the "infant stage".

So I'm thinking.."sure would be nice to get up north for the 4th".
I want to ride my dirt bike, I want to be with loved ones, I want to be with friends.. I want to ride my dirt bike,I want to be around water, I want to be around a keg! Not to mention a big ass BBQ. Oh! and a Parade would be nice down Main Street.

Then My friend Henry says to me..I have a cabin up in Heber Az. My wife and I and the kids, will be up there. (I know this is hard to believe, but Henry's wife is almost as cool as Colleen Dirren) They know how to throw a party almost as good as Shane.

He told me.."invite anyone and everyone...they are all welcome". Camping on his land would be available (showers in the house) right on the lake....plenty of places to ride...and an old fashion Parade and "Block Party" that night on the closed down Interstate. (temp in the evening would require a "hoodie" or light sweater)
Everthing is in walking distance...nice!!

Just something to think about?

"I'm talking to you...Nancy Bull!"
