Bernina Garn (Delgado-Uriarte)
Very cool visit 3 weeks ago. Luke Thirkhill stopped by after a snake hunting adventure up in Seligman. As he was walking up the drive to the house, he said to Don, "You know, Bernina is the only friend I've known for over 43 years.........."
Now, that, in itself, is really something, to know someone for that long and still be friends. Kinda caught me off guard, had really never thought of that.
Have some snake traps set around the place to help catch him some Milksnakes, so far, the weather wasn't too helpful and just bagged the usual gopher, king and rattlesnakes.
Dealing with a Bobcat who thinks I run an "All You Can Eat" poultry and waterfowl buffet..........expect his hide to be on the wall in the next few, next to a buddy of his from a few years back.
Might add.......had to start wearing the old Uggs outside at night, stepped on a rattlesnake on the way out to the birds the other night, just glad he was an adult and not a youngster or I would have been toast! (God, I hate wearing shoes!)
