Dayna and I became best buddies Senior year. I didn't really know her before that and don't remember exactly how we met. We were almost inseparable Sr. year. After high school we stayed friends for several years and then lost touch.I'm so sad she has passed away, but I know she touched the lives of a lot of kids and their parents and she was very much loved.

I remember very few people from my senior year (most of my buddies were a year older it seems) But I'll never forget Dana Smalley with her big blonde hair, her big beautiful smile and her little rickety car (was that a Pacer? Can't remember anymore) Rest in peace Dana. You were a beautiful soul that died too soon.
