Mary Catherine (Russnak) Pryor, 61, of Mesa, AZ, passed away July 27, 2012. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Cathy was born in Phoenix and raised in Scottsdale. She graduated from Scottsdale High School after also attending Gerard. As a young woman she worked for Motorola before resigning to devote her energy to raising a family. Cathy will be remembered as a devoted mother and a caring, kind and generous friend to many. She is survived by her husband Bob, son Kevin Pryor, daughter-in-law Karin, grandchildren Aiden and Nadia and by her sisters Patricia and Charline. A visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 2, 2012 at Queen of Heaven Mortuary, 1562 E. Baseline Rd in Mesa. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at Mater Misericordiae Mission, 1537 W. Monroe St, Phoenix, at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 3, 2012. Interment will follow at St. Francis Cemetery, 2033 N. 48th Street, Phoenix, AZ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul. Arrangements have been entrusted to Queen of Heaven Mortuary, Mesa.
