Char was a friend in grade school and high school ... and then so many years later, we met again in Colorado.  She loved sewing, quilting - and when she lost a son, she became a crusader for healthy foods, non-GMO, and living well.  She became a cancer victim - and it's simply "not fair," but neither is most of life.  I didn't get to find out about her passing until 4 months after it happened, as I was helping my husband heal from a motorcycle accident that nearly claimed his life.  Grieves me still that I couldn't attend a special service for Char, but I want her family to know she graced my life with friendship that I'll never forget.  I will miss her forever.
