Linda Snopek Maday Mancini of Scranton died Tuesday at the Commonwealth Hospice Inpatient Unit at Regional Hospital of Scranton. Her husband is Anthony Mancini.

Born in Scranton, daughter of Marge Pettinato Snopek, Abington Twp., and the late Daniel Snopek, who died June 9, she was educated in Scranton schools.

Linda was a loving wife, mother, daughter and sister. Her son, Parker, was the most important thing in her life; she loved him very much. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Also surviving are her son, Parker Maday, Scranton; stepsons, Anthony Mancini Jr. and Trent Mancini, both of Scranton; brother, Daniel and wife, Susan, Rockville, Md.; a niece, Sydney Snopek; maternal grandparents, Sam and Louise Pettinato, Clarks Summit; godmother, Maria Pettinato, Seattle; aunt, Joanne Snopek, Scranton; uncle, Sam Pettinato and wife, Shirley, Clarks Summit; cousins, Brian Snopek, Jennifer Cerminaro, John Snopek, Oliver and Kyle Pettinato.

She was also preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, John and Stella Lapinsky Snopek; and an uncle, John Snopek.

The funeral will be Friday from the Solfanelli-Fiorillo Funeral Home Inc., 1030 N. Main Ave., Scranton, with Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of the Snows Church, 301 S. State St., Clarks Summit. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
