Any volunteers to put together a slideshow? I heard back from Colleen and she has pictures to donate but we need someone to lead...any takers?

I have no idea what that means but it sounds great. Can you turn the music on and off...like when the DJ isn't playing music, that music would run? Also, would everyone just have to email scanned pictures to you or do they have to send hard copies? Thanks for helping!
Beth

Beth,
They can give me either email pics or if they only have hard copy......i can scan them in myself.....all who are interested in submitting pics via email, can send them to... giogiovanni@gmail.com....those who only have hard copies (which I will return to them at the reunion.... can mail them to me or whatever way you want to do this....if they are local, I can arrange to pick them up as well.....
The best way to email them is to place them into a folder onto your computer, right click on the folder and click on send to then click on ZIP or compress file....
This will minimize file size and make it easier to send them.....

Always willing to help!!
Giovanni
PS. Not John.....HAHAHA

Sorry Giovanni...old habits die hard.
I will somehow post the request for pics on the website. If some want to mail them to you, I can get them to email you directly. Thanks again for helping. I'll be digging out some old photos...can't wait!

Hi Beth. I attended my husband's 20th a few years ago and loved that everyone went home with a CD of 80's music as one of their favors. It really made us laugh when we listened to it. They also received a bag of M&Ms in their school colors.

Thank you so much for taking the lead on this. I am really looking forward to it. I would love to help where I can. I can't attend the planning meeting but, please let me know if there is anything I can do.

Enjoy your summer.

I love the 80's CD thing! I think that's great...and not going to break the bank either! I'll make sure to bring it up at the meeting and see if anyone wants to get the CD together. Thanks for the input!

Giovanni,
I missed the Tiki bar! I hope everyone had a good time...I had a puking kid! I was just looking at this website and there might be a way to have everyone upload their pictures from the past onto their profiles and I can make a CD from them...can you put that to music?? They are making adjustments to the classcreator website tomorrow so I will know if I can still do that after tomorrow. I'll let you know.

I can handle the CD, Beth. Just let me know if you wnat to go ahead with it after you speak to the group.

The other thing I thought was nice about my husband's reunion was that their slideshow included a current picture of the classmate alone or with their family. It was nice to see the person as their life is now.

Hey All,
I've gotten a few emails asking if the time for our reunion has been set. It will be from 6:00 to 10:00p.m. I've received some other questions that I hopefully will be able to answer (and post here) after the next meeting.
It's been great hearing from so many of you! Can't wait to see everyone! ~jenn

Hey!! Great job getting the word out...keep up the chatter to those you run into about the reunion. I think it's going to be a great turnout!

Hey Beth I never knew this was here until now, Hi Judy and Giavanni, long time no see, talk or hear. HeyBeth, Tina and Jenn, short time for us. Anyway, Tina how do we know what music to put on the CD and maybe if we post opinions for favorite songs on here. I'm worried about time for you to get it all together if we wait for responses and what about a label for the CD, I think my computer has a label maker, but better yet I know a person who I think can do it for us. I'd also like to send a card of recognition to the families of students we've lost, just to say we remember...yah or nay?? I'm making up a quiz like servay of questions to answer, just some trivia of the era and the people we graduated with. I found an Eagle costume at Taney's quite similar to ours..$45.00..think Mike would wear it. I'm going to check here from now on, oh, I also went down the list of people that we graduated with that aren't signed up here and I'm trying to facebook them one by one. I'm going to start using the #'s and adresses in the back of the year book. Those pins sound awesome. I'm here if anyone needs me...Beth you Rock...Peace

I LOVE the Eagle thing. I was trying to find out where the original one was but no answer yet. Even if someone knew where it was, it's probably in some high security vault of national treasures!

Hello all! About the CD, I'm pretty sure I own every one-hit wonder ever made back in the 80's. So let me know what you need, or I can just loan them to whoever is making the disc. Or email them, or whatever. Definite "yay" on the sending something to the families of those who've passed. I think that would be really great. That Tish is brilliant!!

Howdy, Mike O'Neil would like us to invade his bar for the next reunion, whaddya think?? Judy, I so want to have a beer with you. I don't know if it's bad blood but do you know anything on Russ Petcavage? Brilliant is not a word commonly associated with my name but thanx for the possability....I'm getting so excited about this!

O.K. I ran into Laura Kashetta and Marty VanWert at the Giant and the other at Price Chopper, both are good and appear to be on board, so we'll see. Beth, I'm kind of worried about time and the invitations, next meeting isn't for another month, are we giving ourselves enough time? Tina, what about a song list and DVD's to record on to? Jenn, any word on a tour time? Is everybody ready for the kids to go back to school? Yahhh Are we going with a slide show, should I hound people for pictures and is Giavanni doing it, does anyone know how to get in touch with him? "For the In Memory Of" I was thinking that if we did their high school photo blown up and with that matting around it and then if we have it on reunion night everyone can sign all them and then give it to their families afterwards or is that tacky, but I would also like to send a card before hand so if they hear about it they know we're thinking about them.

Just read through all of the posts and want to thank all of you who are working on this huge undertaking! I don't know how you find the time with kids, families, jobs, life, etc., but appreciate everything you are doing. I'm sure it will be a huge success. If there's anything you think I can do remotely from VA, let me know. Tourist season is almost over and our pseudo bed & breakfast is vacant for two weeks.

Dawn, The only thing you can do is post some pictures for a slideshow and clear your calendar for the weekend of Nov.7th. My dream is a bed and breakfast, where you at in Va.? And I pretty much ignore my children anyway, so I might as well do something constructive with my time.

Hey gang! Only 2 months until the reunion...can't believe how quickly the summer flew by. We could use a little help from everyone. We'll need addresses to send out invitations which will happen very soon. You can either post your address in your profile, or simply send your name & mailing address to _@aol.com. We are compiling lists to make sure everyone receives an invitation. Also, anyone not signed in on this site but is on facebook can use the email address or should try to sign in here asap. Please pass this info on to our class. Thanks! Hope everyone has a great Labor Day Wkd!
