Donald Gunter, 1315 Woodlawn St., Dunmore, died Thursday at Moses
Taylor Hospital after an illness.  His widow is the former Ruth
Towers.

Born in Scranton, son of the late Howard and Dorothy Jones Gunter, he
was graduated from Central High School and attended Lackawanna Junior
Col1ege and B1oomsburg State College. An assistant office manager at
D. G. Nicholas Co., he was a member of Suburban Presbyterian Church
and former coach of the Greenridge Little League.

Also surviving are are an aunt, Mrs.  Margaret White; an uncle, John
Coil, several cousins.

The funeral will Monday at 11 a.m. from J. Robert Bomberger Funeral
Home, 1660 N. Main Ave., with services by Rev. Robert Craig, Suburban
Presbyterian Church. Internment, Fairlawn Cemetery, Dalton. Friends
may call Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4, 7 to 9 pm.
