
Donald K. Johnson, 62, of New York, N.Y., died Sunday morning at St. Luke's Hospital, New York City.
Born in Scranton, he was the son of Vera Johnson, Scranton, and the late Donald A. Johnson. Donald was the senior producer/writer for a wide range of corporate communications. Donald joined C2 Creative 17 years after a 19-year career in public television at WNET/Thirteen, New York. Donald was a 1965 graduate of Scranton Central High School and a 1969 graduate of Waynesburg College, Waynesburg.
Surviving are a brother, Gary Johnson and wife, Kimberly, Dickson City; a niece, Wendy McKitish and husband, Gene, Dunmore; nephews, Gary Johnson Jr. and wife, Jennifer, Scranton; Darren Johnson, Dickson City; Bradley Hanicak and wife, Ann, Dickson City; and Chad Hanicak, Philadelphia; grandnieces and grandnephews.
Cremation was in New York City. A memorial service will be at a later date. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312, or to Covenant Presbyterian Church, Madison Avenue, Scranton.
