Joan A. Raniello of Taylor died Saturday at Geisinger Community Medical Center. She is survived by her husband, James.
Born in Scranton she was the daughter of the late Alice Samsak. A resident of Taylor for the past 40 years, she was a graduate of Central High School, class of 1965. Joan was a retired L.P.N. who worked at Community Medical Center.
Also surviving are two daughters, Amy and Elizabeth Raniello, at home; a son, James Raniello, Olyphant; two grandchildren, Devon and Marlena; three brothers-in-law; three sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by brother-in-law, Nicholas.
Services will be Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at the John F. Glinsky Funeral Home, 445 Sanderson St., Throop, by the Rev. Arthur W. Davis. Interment, Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst, at the convenience of the family.
