MaryAnn Noto (nee Wechsler) passed away on April 21 after an illness at the University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville, VA.

Born August 15, 1947, the daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine Wechsler, she was a 1965 graduate of Scranton Central High School and a 1969 graduate of Mansfield State College. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a school based technology instructor for Fairfax Public Schools.

She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, John Noto; two sons, Michael and his wife Shameem, Aldie, VA and Geoffrey and his wife Liz, Fairfax, VA and three grandchildren, Alex, Mayah and Scarlett Ann due in July 2013. In addition she is survived by two sisters, Elly Wechsler Lesniewski, Pasadena MD and Cathy Ebinger and her husband Rick, Sewell NJ; and one brother, Joe Wechsler and his wife Cathy, Scranton PA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Her family was her life. Her greatest joy was her children and grandchildren. Since retiring to the Shenandoah Valley, she and John have enjoyed traveling to Italy and Greece.

The family will receive friends at the Maddox Funeral Home, 105 West Main Street, Front Royal, VA on Thursday, April 25 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 120 West Main Street, Front Royal, VA at 11 a.m. on Friday April 26.
