Jim McKinley's Mid -year update Posted Wednesday, June 3, 2015 07:18 PM Hi, Time is marching on. February brought me to the 3/4 century mark as I turned 75. Time really does fly. April was a significant month as my last physical tie to Sea Cliff ended with the sale of the family home at 139 Carpenter Ave (located at the top of Carpenter Ave as it starts its descent to the beach). I have great memories of Sea Cliff and consider myself to have been very, very luckly to have grown up there along with many of you. Future generations will never have the experiences of gathering at the "old bathing pavillion" during summer vacations, putting together pick-up baseball games at Clifton Park or gathering at the Youth Center at14th Ave and Central Avenue yo on the weekends. Additional weekend activites for more than a few included a mandatory trip to Tilleys Beach for a "beer break prior to heading home for the evening...sorry Mr and Mre Farley. My only regret was that I was not involved in more school activities but that was partially the result of working at North Shore Country Club thought my entire high school years. I have to give great credit to Wallace for keeping this web site going as it is the main source of info for keeping up with classmates. I encourge everyone to make an effort to submit at least a yearly update to keep the "chain intact. To my Palm Beach and east coast of Florida classmates I will strongly endeavor to visit with you next April. Jim
