My thanks to Peter (class of '59) for many observations and comments on school and particularly on sports and athletes. Peter, the younger brother of Allyson Rose (Class of '58), starred in baseball and football in school, served in the Special Forces, then made a life's career in journalism, traveling the world and writing about travel, sports, and adventure.
