56 yrs is a lot of ground to cover so I shall do so on the most macro of levels. Three children, eight grandchildren, good health and companionship have made for a bountiful life. After grad school I married Gisela Gosh, took a job as a youth director in a YMCA. After a year decided this was better done as an avocation and went to work for Nabisco in marketing research while living in Sea Cliff and commuting to 54th and Park. I was able to travel to Australia for them where I had family and took some side junkets to Fiji and Tahiti. While in Mpls on a job for them I was recruitied by General Mills and joined them in October of 66 and have lived in Mpls ever since. I took an early retirement as a Director in 86. As a department head in a staff function you are dead ended, become high priced over head and blockage for the young turks coming up. I did some real estate investing, mlm, consulting and a lot of volunteering. Racquetball, running and some tennis did my knees in. I still hike and bike some but spend too much time on my duff, reading, on the computer, watching tv, playing bridge and occasional chess. I went to the class of 56's 50th since some members of my class were going as well as the Thompsons and Gaulds who remain great friends to this day. While there I reconnected with Fran Hencke and we have been sustaining a long distance relationship the past 5 years. I had taken her to the Jr. Prom. She remembered the gardenia corsage but not that I had taken her.
