Brian died as a result of an auto accident the summer of 1976. I had grown close to Brian the year or so prior to his death. He visited a few times while I was away at school and we often checked out local bands together in places like the Bottle and Cork in Dewey Beach or at the Stone Balloon in Newark. Brian had played in a few bands himself and loved to talk music, much like his brother Sam. - Gary Barwick
I think of Brian quite often. In kindergarten is when we met... climbing up on the back of a paper mache elephant, as I recall. One of the kindest and brightest souls I've ever met, I patterned a character of mine after him in my book, "Gleau". I could capture that smile in words, but that lovely deep laugh of his remains in my memory. Here's to you Brian... you are my Punchline!

A tragic loss of an intelligent, personable individual who was a friend to all.Anyone know his cause of death?
