This memorial website was created in memory of our sweetheart, Alysia Garland, 47 years old. She will forever enrich our lives with her laughter and love.

Alysia came to earth in 1974 as a bright and shining star. She lived her life creating beauty for others, serving others, and putting joy and laughter into every person she met. She was unmistakably remarkable, her personality a big blast of color splash and laughter that filled every space she was in. Such an extraordinary woman she was, that each life she touched left them feeling delighted, cared for, well-fed, understood, entertained, and loved.

If you listen, you will be able to hear Alysia in your heart, laughing with you, comforting you, or sharing funny stories. She will be saying hi to you every time you see rainbows from prisms on the wall and the sparkles on the waters. Family was extremely important to her. She was the best daughter, big sister and auntie ever. She loved her grandma and extended family, and her childhood friends, who were all so deeply important to her. She was also an extraordinary cook, gifted artist, and the most dedicated cat mom out there.

Alysia is preceded in her death by her father, Jack Garland and brother Dale Garland, and is survived by her mother, Linda Garland, her sisters Nicole and Valerie, her nephews, her brother-in-law, her cousins, uncles and aunt, her grandmother, and her many, many friends both near and far.
