Mark Donnelly - Class Of 1991

Mark Garin DONNELLY Of Seattle died after a battle with Cancer on January 3, 2009. He is preceded in death by his father Edward and his loving grandparents. Mark was particularly close to his grandma Phyllis. He is survived by his mother, Marilyn, and his aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Mark was born July 20, 1973 to Edward and Marilyn Donnelly. He was raised in Seattle and graduated from Franklin High School in 1991. He attended Central Washington University, where he graduated with a degree in Law and Justice. Growing up, Mark spent a lot of time with Grandma Phyllis. She took him to football games, the horse races and taught him how to play cards. Mark also enjoyed just hanging out at Grandma's house. Mark loved Seattle and was a loyal fan of the Seahawks. Win or lose, he was on their side. Mark's passion was coaching. For the past decade, Mark was a head coach in the Ballard Junior Football program. During that time his team, the Ballard Bantams had countless wins, made it to the playoffs annually, and included 5 championships. Coach Mark will be greatly missed by the many players and parents he encountered over the years. A celebration of Mark's life will be held Saturday, January 17th beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Loyal Heights Community Center in Seattle.
