Mike & I played B.ball together for the Indians & the Lutes. (PLU) He later became a very successful administrator (principal) in the Sumner Sch. Dist. & he had a passion for raising horses.
Mike and I were friends off and on beginning at Madison We played a lot of sports together and I remember one funny incident at my folks lake place. Mike did not know how to swim very well at the time and there was a float a few yards off shore and he managed to dog paddle out to it. He was really reluctant to jump back in the water and come ashore. After about an hour or so and getting to look like a cooked lobster he finally made the plunge. After that we frequented Alki and started diving together. Damn that sound gets cold. I remember the pain. I am sure others do too. Mike was a decent guy. Dick Reynolds
