While at Morgan, Jack and I did a project contrasting the life of the wealthy with that of the poor. I wrote a poem and Jack and I went to Seattle to take photos to show as the poem was read, we were on Capital Hill taking pictures of some of the largest houses there, but we kept running into problems getting the right shots. For Jack this was no problem, at one house overlooking down town Seattle we could just make out a garden in the backyard, but no way to get a good picture, Jack walked out onto this huge bulkhead that dropped off a cliff, he climbed over the fence, and he got some great shots of the garden and the back of the house. At another house you could not get a good view at street level, the camera needed to be higher, it was very early morning and not many people around, so Jack went across the street, climbed up onto the roof of that house, which was the perfect height to get the shot we wanted.
Thanks Al for sharing this story about Jack. We had so much fun in 8th /9 th grade classes together !! Jack was so kind and so Funny !!! Our family is good friends with Jacks brother. I'll share your story with him. Take care.

Seeing Jack's face and knowing he's gone made me sad. It also made me smile with memories. I laughed more with him than anyone else in high school.
