Mike was a big guy with a big heart.

Mike was born in Old Rowley Hospital in Mount Vernon on Father's Day. He passed away at Big Lake on a beautiful day with his family and friends present.

He is survived by his wife Sue, his mother Carol Mayer, brother Walt and his wife Julie, uncle Charles Mossington and his wife Helen, nephews Jake and Luke, cousins Guy and Laura Mossington, mother-in-law Jan Coffey, sister-in-law Ellie Coffey and her companion Steve Thompson.

He was preceded in death by his father Bob Mayer in 2003.

Mike worked at several local saw mills. He also worked part-time at Morgan Creek Outfitters. His favorite hobby was fishing which began at age three and continued throughout his life.

At Mike's request, a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley.
