Robert J. "Jeff" Nims went to be with the Lord on Friday morning, September 21, 2007.

Jeff was born on January 19, 1958 in Sedro-Woolley and had resided there his entire life. He was well known by most as "Gentleman Jeff the Janitor" as he owned Jeff's Janitorial Services Incorporated for 23 years. He was also a businessman in the Sedro-Wolley community who had a passion for helping others in times of need. He had a great passion for the Sedro-Woolley Wrestling Program as he was a 1976 graduate of Sedro-Woolley High School and a member of the 1976 State Championship Wrestling Team.

Jeff is survived in death by his wife Connie K. Nims and daughter Leslie K. Nims, his parents Nancy and Herald "Bud" Bates of Tucson, AZ, and Robert and Dolores Nims of Clovis, CA; his brother, Bryan Nims of Dallas, TX and his wife Danelle; brothers Todd Nims of Scottsdale, AZ and Mike Nims of Clovis, CA; nieces and nephews include Carmen, John, and Melissa Nims of Dallas, TX, Matthew Nims of Clovis, CA and many others; his great aunt Alma Pearson of Santa Barbara, CA and his aunts Marion Nicholas of Stanwood, WA, Kathy Nims of Acme, WA, Debbie Cartwright of Redding, CA and Bonnie Nims of Hoopa, CA.
His father-in-law Robert Mainard of Burlington, WA, brothers-in-law Jim "Spoon" Mainard and wife Melissa of Mount Vernon, WA, Robert Mainard II and wife Sharon of Burlington, WA, sisters-in-law Frieda Moore and husband Earl of Castle Rock, WA, Bonnie Kyle and husband Leslie of Bow, WA, Evelyn Morse and husband James of Mount Vernon, WA and many loved nieces and nephews.

Jeff is preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Charles and Ella Neff and Elin and Gust Pearson; grandparents, Leona and George Mills, Art "Tuffy" Pearson, George and Jay Nims, and Dorthy and Buck Elkins, his uncle Clifford Pearson and mother-in-law Mabel Mainard.
