Alan Dale Skiles, age 53, a longtime resident of Sedro-Woolley, passed away July 9, 2012, at Skagit Valley Hospital.He was born August 26, 1958, in Sedro-Woolley, to Harold Eugene and Gladys Lenora (Bear) Skiles.Alan worked at Vern Sims Ford as a parts manager until his disability in 1985. After that he enjoyed woodworking, making furniture and train sets, and enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family, friends and grandsons.He is survived by his daughters, Nicole and her husband, Chad Walsh, of Arlington, and their children, Dylan and Evan, and Ashley Skiles, of Sedro-Woolley; sister, Mary and her husband Wayne Miller, of Utah; brother, Darrell and his wife, Sherilyn Skiles, of Big Lake; nephews, Bryan, Todd, Sean, Brett and Scott; nieces, Allison, Leana, Cindy and Lori, and numerous great nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Gladys Skiles.
