Mark Ivan Sanders, of Seneca, SC passed away peacefully on December 28, 2022, at the age of 60. He was born in Anderson, SC to Charles H. Sanders and the late Van Sanders. He attended high school in Seneca and received his higher education at Lander College.
Mark was a loving husband, having been married to his beautiful wife Amy for the past 35 years after having met her in their college days. Together they had his best accomplishments, their two sons whom he loved more than anything. 
Mark was employed for 31 years by Duke Energy at the Oconee Nuclear Power Station where he made many friends. When he wasn’t working Mark enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and being with family and friends. 
Mark is survived by his wife, Amy Sanders of Seneca, SC, and his sons, Matthew Sanders, of Bishopville, SC, and Gabe Sanders of Greenville, SC. He is also survived by his father and his stepmother Charles and Becki Sanders of Piedmont, SC, and his stepsister Shannon Livingston of Piedmont, SC. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved very much. Mark also leaves behind his special fur baby Riley, a beautiful black lab that brought him great joy. Finally, the family would like to acknowledge the love and lifelong friendship that Mark leaves behind with Jeff Pearson, Tony Garland, Jimmy Bashnan, and Jimmy Hill. 
Mark is predeceased by his loving mother, Van Sanders, and his brother Charles M. “Pedie” Sanders.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the loving staff at the Cottingham Hospice House for the excellent care that they provided during their time of need. 
Visitation will be held Friday, December 30th from 12:30 pm to 1:45 pm at Robinson Funeral Home, Downtown with services to follow at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home, Downtown. Burial will follow immediately after services at Robinson Memorial Gardens at 1425 Powdersville Rd, Easley, SC 29642.
