School Story:
Wow, to look over these photos and think back. Its been a long road since then.
Judy (Nimmons) and I married in March, 1979. Our first daughter born in August, 1980. Judy finished school and began working in the medical field. I went to work for Duke Power (Energy). In 1983, we moved to Charlotte NC with Duke Energy and Judy continuing in the medical field. In 1985 our second daughter was born. Judy, myself and the girls had a great time together - moving many times between NC, AL, SC and back to NC. My oldest daughter Erin married Greg and we have two grandsons.
In 1997 our lives changed drastically as I entered seminary. In 2002 I was ordained as a Presbyterian ministers and answered a call to New Sterling Presbyterian Church in Stony Point, NC. In May 2002 our daughter Marli passed away after a four-wheeler accident. We miss her terribly.
Judy left the medical field and now works with me at the church keeping me straight and moving forward. She is awesome!
In 2009 I returned to seminary and earned an doctorate in Pastoral Theology. I have taught some at Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte.
Mostly Judy and I lead things here at church, enjoy camping and spending time with out grandkids.
