Anita V. Burkett Beatty, 45 of 212 Paula Dr., Seneca, SC passed on Friday, Jan 6, 2012. She was born July 26, 1966 to Byron & Joyce Burkett. She was married to Gordon Britt Beatty of the home. She was a member of Seneca Baptist Church. She served 18 years in Special Education for Greenville County and the last 4 years as Director of Special Service for Pickens County. She is survived by her parents, spouse, grandmother; Lola Black of Seneca, son; Brandon Beatty of Seneca, daughters; Hannah Grace Beatty of Seneca, Jessica & Michael Guillott of Walhalla, brother; Alan & Joanne Burkett of Greenwood, grandchildren; Kallisha & Macie Guillott.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 am Monday, Jan. 9, 2012 at Oconee Memorial Park, with the Dr. C. Von Reynolds officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 pm Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012 at Brown-Oglesby Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Charity of One’s choice.
