David Anthony Grant, 37, of 290 Friendship Valley Road, died Monday, May 27, 2002, at Oconee Memorial Hospital. Born in Oconee County, he was a son of the late Cecil Grant and Irene Dodd Grant of Seneca. Survivors: Wife, Karen C. Grant; sons, Benjamin D. Grant and Jacob A. Grant, both of the home; and sisters, Janice Petry of Jonesville and Vickie Smeal of Pennsylvania. Visitation: 3 to 4 p.m. today at Seneca Mortuary, with the service at 4 p.m. Memorials: Oconee Christian Academy, 150 His Way Circle, Seneca, SC 29672. David was my cousin and we grew up together in church and played as kids at my Aunt Hazel's house during summer breaks. As we got older we ran in different cirles, but David was good guy and maintained a level-head approach to most things. I miss him.Melissa (Lissa) Grant (1985)
