Jeffrey Grant Ivester

Jeffrey Grant Ivester, 51, of Mooresville, NC, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2014.
He was born on November 24, 1962 in Seneca, SC, to Judy Grant Phillips and the late Claude B. Ivester. Jeff was a veteran serving in the US Navy as a Navy Corpsman for 4 years and then spent 2 years attached to the US Marine Corps. He was a 1997 graduate of Clemson University and was an avid Clemson fan. Jeff was very involved in his son’s sports.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Staci Meendering Ivester; son, Grayson von Lehe Ivester; brother, Gregory von Lehe Ivester; step-father, Gene Phillips; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harlan and Sharon Meendering; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Tanya and Tracy McCorkle; three nieces and one great nephew. Jeff is also survived by many other beloved family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 15 at Rocky Mount United Methodist Church with Rev. Jamie Hamrick officiating. Full military honors will follow the service. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00-2:00 PM at the church.
