Gary was married and sealed to Teresa Lee Francis August 15, 1990, in the Salt Lake Temple. They met at Hale Centre Theatre while performing in "You Can't Take It With You." Gary and Teresa continued as active participants in many plays at HCT and cherished the time spent there.

Gary graduated from Highland High School where he enjoyed playing football and singing in the music department. He attended the University of Utah and remained an avid U of U fan. He served as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in South Korea and remained very active in the LDS church. Gary was currently employed as the Finishing Group Manager in the printing department of the LDS Church where he had been employed for 26 years. Since 1995, Gary has been a resident of Farmington Utah. He adored his wife and children and spent many hours at their activities and loved teaching them.

Gary is survived by his wife, Teresa, three daughters and one son; parents Dennis and Joan of Salt Lake City; siblings Scott, Shaunna Snow (Paul) , and Terrie Keck (Karl), and in-laws, Al and Jean Francis as well as many other extended family members and friends.
