Hye Ryung Byon, age 55, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2019, at Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, Utah. Born on December 27, 1963, in Chengsong-gun, South Korea, to Jong Mok Lee and Hye Sook Li, Hye Ryung was the second oldest of four children. She served as an LDS missionary in the Seoul Korea Mission from 1985 to 1986. She married Choon Gu Byon in the Seoul Korea Temple in 1986 and had been happily married for 33 years. After marriage, she spent 16 years in Masan, South Korea, and moved to the United States with her husband and two daughters in 2002. She was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. She was a great cook and baker. She was always willing to help those in need even when she was having a hard time. She will be remembered for her kindness, love, and compassion. We will miss her, but are comforted to know that she is with God.

Hye Ryung is survived by her Husband, Choon Gu; daughters, Jamin, wife of Junsung and mother to Hyungu and Hyunje; and Jennifer. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday October 25, 2019 at 1120 E 600 N Orem, Utah. Interment will be in the Orem City Cemetery, 1520 North 800 East Orem, Utah.
