It is with sadness that I share with you the passing of our classmate and friend, Jacqueline ( Jackie ) Silber Benis, on November 23, 2023. She is survived by her husband Jerry Benis, and sons, David, (wife Laurie) Benis, and Joel Benis; sister Meryl Patestrant, and brother, Robert (Gail) Silver; grandchildren Dana (Joshua) Bowen, and Jeremy Benis; great-grandchildren, Addy, Jamie and Laurel Bowen. Jackie was a devoted wife, mother grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a strong advocate for special needs children, a creative and talented artist, and a treasured friend. She will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
May she rest in peace.
