Christine Lucas Roddy

Christine E. Roddy (Lucas) age 71 of Hudson, Ohio passed away November 29, 2021 following a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of John C. Roddy of 47 years. Mother of Leslie (Michael) Porach of Litchfield, Ohio, and T.J. (Raquel) Roddy of Melbourne, Florida; grandmother of Brooke, Will, Collin, Brady, Maddie, and Tessa; sister of Merritt John (Mina) Lucas of Washington state; aunt and cousin to many; proceeded in death by her parents Merritt J. Lucas and Madeline Wetter.

Chris graduated from St. Katharine’s School in Davenport, Iowa in 1968 and went on to attend Heidelberg University in Tiffin, Ohio. She was a lifelong domestic goddess, who was a sports enthusiast, and had a passion for rescuing Airedale Terriers. Chris enjoyed spending her summers in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan as a member of the Hiawatha Sportsman Club.
