Jordan was one of my families favorites. I remember when we were all at Byron he and others would sit during lunch period and watch Ramone Cundiff eat his daily choice of mashed potatoes and gravy, that he dipped Oreos in! Also listening to the mini soap opera that I would read aloud to the group that I would ambitiously write and perform. The last time I saw Jordan he was walking down Lomond and he looked the pure example of positivity and he had this awesome glow. I said to him, "You look like a fresh faced kid!" Even though he was in the throws of his illness, and told me as much. Jordan has always and will always be in my prayers. May he rest in peace.

And how can we forget Jordan's performance in "How to Suceed in Business" (along with Jimmy Demb and Lisa Weinberg of course). When I ran into him and his mother towards the end she told me she still had the life sized cardboard cut-out of him. I hope it still exists since it captured his vitality. The last time I saw him I told him I was making a career switch to oncology research and he gave me his blessing. Thank you Jordan and peace to you!

Jordan and I often walked home from Byron (no reason to wait for the late bus!)  These are some of my happiest memories!

I remember taking some of those walks too with you Betsy! Only it was just the two of us.

Cheryl Patrick might remember the halloween that we went to the haunted house with her cousin. It sat on the NE corner of Harvard and Richmond. It was a rickety, weathered wooden frame farm house that was in really bad shape. And there was an actual dungeon with a grate atop so that passers by could see these well made up actors as monsters chained and held captive and making monster chatter. As we passed by the display impressed by the costuming, I look down and ask,"Jordan is that you?" Jordan stops in midaction, drops the act and says," Oh, it's you. Hi Sandi." Boyyy, did we get a kick out of that performance! And Im sure there were hundreds who saw his performance that halloween!
