Jeffrey Mintz Obituary

JEFFREY NEIL MINTZ 45, of Shallotte died September 14, 2015. He was born on November 5, 1969 in New Hanover County the son of Roy Mintz and the late Sandra Holden Mintz. Prior to his retirement he was employed by Brunswick and Columbus County Department of Social Service. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and graduated from West Brunswick High School in 1988 where he participated in various sports and a graduate of the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Surviving in addition to his father are two sons, Drew and Neil Mintz both of Shallotte; brother, Doug Mintz and wife, Joy of Shallotte; two nieces, Christina Patelos and Ashlyn Mintz both of Shallotte; mother of his children, Leigh Helms of Shallotte and his uncle, John Mintz and wife, Gloria of Shallotte. Graveside Service will be conducted at 3:00 pm Friday, September 18, 2015 in the Mintz Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 pm Friday at the graveside.
