Micah Keeney, 26, went home to be with his Lord on January 4, 2009.

Micah was born on May 27, 1982 in Lubbock to Mike and Bunny Keeney. He graduated from Shallowater High School and attended Texas Tech University. He was a self-employed farmer who lived life to its fullest. Micah enjoyed outdoor activities which included riding his dirt bike. He was baptized in the First Baptist Church of Shallowater where he remained a faithful member.

Micah is survived by his parents, Mike and Bunny of Shallowater; brothers, Josh and wife Stephanie and Matt, all of Shallowater; nieces, Piper and Mattie Jo; nephew, Pierce; grandmothers, Mona Bennett and Johnnie Keeney both of Lubbock; the love of his life and best friend, Ashley Layton of Lubbock; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Micah is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Kenneth Keeney and Frank Bennett.
