What is your most fond memory of Sharon Hill High School?   Something that makes you smile :-)

I often remember 10 grade Health class, the classroom was in the front of the school, and I believe it was the last period of the day.  The seniors were allowed to leave early (that didn't happen when we were seniors), and they would gather outside the school.  They always had a boom box, and Maggie May was often playing.  To this day, everytime I hear Rod Stewart, and Maggie May I smile.  Can remember Brian Duffy, Kevin Kelly...the seniors at that time, outside enjoying their freedom from school.

What a nice group of people we have in our class. The 40th Class Reunion meeting last night was productive; wonderful conversations had by all. We are so fortunate. Just everyday folks ~ enjoying this jouney in life.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at the REUNION.

All the best, Joanne McCann White

I agree with Joanne, it is nice to see folks from back in the day. Brings back a lot of memories.  In those days we had what we thought was a lot of school work and papers and exams, we faced the pressure of SATs and gaining admission to college (and figuring out how to pay for it), we had to work after school and we were trying to get established as someone to be taken seriously by adults, but we didn't know how good we had it.  I can see that now.  Someday I'd like to get back to a place where my biggest concern is what I will be doing the coming Saturday night!     Anthony D-L

Thanks for the encouragement, you are too kind. Certainly a joint venture with many amazing friends.  The support has been phenomenal.  Kudos to everyone who has given leads on locating classmates, provided files from previous reunions, and all those who have been instrumental in putting together our past reunions. Every bit of input is making this reunion happen.

It is certainly helpful having the world wide web at our fingertips, locating & contacting classmates has become much more doable, and resources/vendors are just a click away. I epecially want to thank everyone who has taken the time to join our class website, making this communication possible.

All that being said, thank you to everyone - it is an extraordinary journey.  I know the actual reunion on October 11 will be but a fleeting moment in time, but the relationships are for a lifetime.

Thank you!!!
lisa
