Steven Edward Hamel
Steven Edward Hamel, 45, of Collingdale, an employee of Penn Pannell and Box Co., died May 24 at Lankenau Hospital. Born in Southwest Philadelphia, Mr. Hamel lived in Sharon Hill before becoming a resident of Collingdale six years ago. A graduate of Sharon Hill High School, Mr. Hamel was an employee of the Penn Pannell and Box Co. Survivors: Daughters, Sarah and Melissa Hamel, both of Sharon Hill parents, J. Chally, and Eleanor Hamel of Folcroft brothers, Charley of West Chester, and David of Altoona sisters, Carrie Patterson of Edgmont, and Nancy Hennig of Boothwyn 25 nieces and nephews.
Service: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph's Church, Collingdale. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Burial: SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Marple Township. Contributions: American Cancer Society, 600 N. Jackson St., 2nd Floor, Media, PA 19063. Arrangements: O'Leary Funeral Home, 640 E. Springfield Road, Springfield.
