Mark S. Rigby, 50, Peculiar, MO, died Monday, April 4, 2005, at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, KS. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Friday, April 8, 2005, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Harrisonville. Burial Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville. Visitation will be 7-8:30 p.m., Thursday, April 7, 2005, at Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, MO. Mark Steven Rigby, of Peculiar, MO, was born June 18, 1954, in Kansas City, MO, the son of Edward Weston and Mary Eulalia (Bruer) Rigby. Mark was employed as a molding injector for Calmar, Inc., Lee's Summit, MO, for the past 13 years. He was an Army veteran serving with the First Infantry Division in Germany. Mark had been a resident of Shawnee, KS, and Lee's Summit, MO, before moving to Peculiar. He is survived by three daughters, Shandella Green, and Rachel Rigby, both of Leavenworth, KS, Elisabeth Cortese, Cary, North Carolina, an Army veteran of the main invasion of Operation Iraq Freedom, where her husband is still serving in Iraq; his parents, Edward and Mary Rigby, Peculiar, MO, a granddaughter, Gracelynn Cortese; two sisters, Linda Vance, and husband, Roy, Elizabeth, CO, Laura Lee, and husband, Robert, Drexel, MO; four nieces, Bonnie and Kristi Lee, Jessica and Michaela Vance; two nephews, David and Jon Vance; and other relatives and many friends.
