Sandra “Sandy” Lynne Haley, 59, of Gardner, passed away December 7, 2014 at her home. Memorial service will be held 10:00 am Friday, December 12, 2014 at Bruce Funeral Home, Gardner, KS (913) 856-7111. Condolences may be left at www.brucefuneralhome.com

Sandy was born August 1, 1955 in Leavenworth, KS to Arlene Patria (Garner) and Robert Harris Haley. She grew up in Overland Park, KS and moved to Gardner in 2011. Sandy graduated from Shawnee Mission Northwest High School. She worked for Shaffer, Kline & Warren for 25 years as a survey inspector. Her most recent job was in quality control with Hans Rudolph, Shawnee, KS manufacturing medical supplies. Sandy loved to listen to “classic rock” and was active for many years playing softball. She will be dearly missed by family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father. Sandy is survived by her mother Arlene Maxwell, Gardner, KS; son-in-law Brian Thompson and grandson Ascher Thompson, of Kansas City, KS; and brother, Eric and wife Joan Maxwell, Olathe, KS
