James Puddy VIEW PROFILE

               James M. Puddy, 32 of 2753 N. 7th Street died at home on Sunday morning Dec. 14, 2003, with his loving family at his side. Jim fought a courageous battle with cancer since the summer of 1998.
                Jim was born March 27, 1971 in Sheboygan, to Richard and Diane (Laurin) Puddy. He attended Holy Name School and graduated from North High School, Class of 1989.
                He was a former employee of U.S. Filter and most recently at J.L. French. Jim was a baptized and confirmed at Holy Name Parish. An avid sports fan, Jim enjoyed watching a variety of sporting events and became an avid fan of the Chicago Bears, much to his family’s surprise.
                In addition to his parents, Jim is survived by a sister, Angie; a niece, Brionna; paternal grandfather, Richard Puddy Sr., and maternal grandmother, Helen Laurin; many aunts, uncles, cousins, including Sara, other relatives and friends.
                He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Puddy and maternal grandfather, William Laurin.
                A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday, 11 a.m. at Holy Name Catholic Church by the Rev. James E. Connell. Entombment will take place in Sunrise Memorial Gardens mausoleum. A time of visitation and support will be held at Ballhorn Funeral Chapels on Monday (TODAY) from 4-8 p.m. and at the church on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
                A memorial fund has been established in his name. Jim will always remain his mom and dad’s hero, may his new home give him peace. Email Condolences to ballhorn@bytehead.com.
