My husband was in the marines during Vietnam !!!!!!!!! He was a military police officer that patrolled the red light district in Okinawa. So, basically he spent his time pulling drunk marines out of horror houses. He has some really great stories. His brother gave him a bumper sticker that reads, " Not as mean but still a Marine ". It is confusing because I do have to refer to him as a Marine "present tense" because once a Marine..............always a Marine !!!!!!!!! Right now he is in Texas at Fort Bliss. He is an industrial contractor who geared back up to build ammo bunkers in the middle of the desert. So I figured he could fly in to Hawaii from Texas and I could fly in from Metro and meet in beautiful Hawaii and I could leave a few days ahead to see the wonderful Debbie Miller. Remember when we were little, my big sister was in the air force?
