I am sure the whole class appreciates you posting the photos! :o) Side Note: I pondered on whether to post about the digital camera but now I have had 4 responses, 2 calls and 2 emails from people that have bought the camera too. I hope I have not steered people wrong. I just thought it was a great price!!! If anyone ever knows of great Holiday Gifts and pricing I would love to hear about it... I am still not finished with my shopping. :o)

I don't mean to seem negative, but let me tell you about the time I bought the "ULTIMATE POKEMON BLOWOUT". What a joke! I ended up giving away half the cards as gifts to a Spanish family and the other 1/4 to a family that I knew that knew some Chinese kids. Or the time, or the time. Good Luck, but if I can't put my hands on it, I'm hard pressed to buy it.

11/22/08 11:01 PM #708     Sheri Strang Aaron, (Tex) I still love ya. It is okay if you do not like QVC. I personally love it and have gotten some great items from there. I have also saved quite a bit of money in the process. I do comparison shop and look for the same things elsewhere. I stick with name brands and it has worked out great. I personally can't just go out and shop at the moment so it is perfect for me. I even have my neighbors hooked. Part of one of my services was that of a personal shopper and QVC made that very easy for me when shopping for other people's needs. It is just my opinion and not a big deal. :o) Aaron you should have RETURNED the cards. There is a no hassle return policy and they have always honored it for me.

He has purchased items in my name and sent me the bill. 42 inch TV, stereo system, carpet vac, camcorder, laptop, and I could keep going. The only item I was really interested in is a hoody he purchased and gave to me as a gift. Just in time because my head needs love this time of year. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind my Dad buying some things for himself. He does alot of things around the shop and deserves it. Aaron

The key is to use discretion and not buy just to be buying or out of impulse. I know you want to treat your Dad to some luxuries of life, but there has to be a limit and an understanding. I am sure he does not mean to abuse the privilege and he just gets caught up in the moment. :o) I guess you need to talk to him as I do not know how you would block the QVC channel. I LOVE QVC and it is a life saver for me. I have so many people that I do shopping for and it has really worked out well for me. I do the shopping for both sides of the family and I am Santa for gadgets and then there is helping out loved ones get gifts for other people. Dollar for Dollar I have always saved even with shipping and handling and they have very creative gifts as well. Well, I think we have bored the forum with the shopping channels so I will end it on this end. I am also going to go back and delete the camera entry as it is no longer at that price. :o)
