Helen Loletto... Funny, but I posted something a long time ago about her. She was in some of my classes and man was she a strong ass chick... She use to kick my ass in arm wrestling back in Malow. My sister was friends with her sister. We use to go and check out her horses and ride around on their property. If she was shot to death, I can only picture that being the only way to stop that strong ass WOMAN. She was good shit though.

Well, Scott K. and I are heading off to see Loretta Lang at her Bar in Marblehead, MA. I talked to Loretta to see what the scene will be and she said BORING. (small town, small scene). But damn, I said fuck that shit....The party is where you make it! Plus she also said that Boston is right around the corner "just in case". I'm really looking forward to it. Hope Michelle and her crew has a great time in New York this weekend. Don't forget your deodorant girls!

Tex & Scott ~ you're gonna have a great time in MA! I was born out there and have family that owns a fishery in Glouchester. I haven't been out east in years! Be sure to head to Boston - GREAT TIME...don't forget to visit Little Italy (amazing food!). Marblehead is small but it's beautiful and it's all about the company you keep as opposed to where you're at! You're gonna be with old friends and that alone should be an experience in itself! Be sure to take pics so the rest of us can laugh! The people out there have the funniest attitude - almost like New Yorkers but not quite as rude but still to the point.

I got a voicemail from Sheri today. She asked me to post an update with a status on the procedure she had done Wednesday.

She said the procedure went well, she's ok but has temporary paralysis on the left side and is having trouble sitting up. My understanding is that both of these issues were expected and are TEMPORARY lasting approximately 2 weeks. She's not able to get online at this time but is hoping that she will be back soon.

I did return her call but had to leave a voicemail. From the message she left me she sounds in good spirits and has a positive attitude. Amazing considering all she's been through. That alone will speed her recovery process up. :) If I get more info, I will post it.

Thank you Kathy for the detailed update!!!! She is truely a survivor!!! I give her all the credit in the world! God help her through this process and may she recover with flying colors!

Her transition to becoming a cyborg is almost complete. Gotcha Sheri!

03/16/09 02:37 PM #1246

Sheri Strang

You are so funny about the cyborg comment... hardy har har
Seriously, there is no paralyzed vocal cord this time so sorry your cyborg fantasies are at a screeching halt. You would know that if you called me. ha ha

I am typing today with one hand on the computer but I am doing much better. Thanks for all of the loving thoughts and prayers.

Yes, Kathy was right and the paralysis was completely expected and will be TEMPORARY!!! I already have feeling again on the left side up to my knee. That is great!!!

I get better each and every single day. I am not accomplishing anything more than all of you could if the situation was reversed.

Hugs~Sheri

P.S. To everyone joining the JUST turning 30 club...I thought I would try that there. Damn drivers license gave it away...then they had the gall to write 38...ahem not until April 15th thank you. :o)

It's not Scott anymore. It's SCOOTS McGregor aka: SCOOTS McMurphy, SCOOTS. For me "Drunken Animal, Pig Lush, otta control, the dude passed out, etc. But being realistic at least about Scoots. We had a great time, lots of drink, Lorettas bar was the bomb, seriously strong ass drinks, good people, gorgeous town, awesome bed and breakfast, beutiful homes. Loretta is friends with everyone that walks into her bar.. Definately one of the great places to go and visit. I'll post some pics, give me a day or so to get the wheels turning again.
