Happy Belated Birthday Doby. I am sorry I missed it. Although I am sure it is still going on.

Thanks Ed...maybe we will do that. I appreciate your offer. JY

Youngblood and anyone else else golfing,

Just throwing out an idea. If we golf at Blackheath (outing friendly), we are 4 miles from The Hills (Bar near papa Joe's) and Tom's Oyster bar on Tienken. Then we are 1/2 mile from the spartan motel.

Good idea Ken. I am sure there are taxies in Rochester in case someone needed one and everything is close. I can't think of a good place like Hood mentioned with a large bar attached to the hotel?? Sterling Inn has a bar but not very large. Royal Park might be a good idea because they have a nice bar and patio and walking distance to the bar's in Downtown. Maybe we can get a 2 night discount since we will be staying there after the party Saturday!! Hood mentioned that the problem with Royal Park is that we may have a rowdy crowd but since we are all grown up we would never get out of hand :) JY

Joe, we can actually send an email blast to the entire class right from this website. Once you get the details, send it to Dino or I and we can post something on the site and send an email out. We will probably post a few things happening that weekend. Some people have mentioned getting together at Gus' on Friday night and also a picnic on Sunday at Stoney Creek.

I am helping to organize and get sponsorships for a race that Saturday morning - the AdvoKate run. My son's best friend had a twin sister who passed away while they were in kindergarten. This race/walk is held every year in her honor in downtown Rochester. I've got a few people running with me and I'd love to see more out there. Let me know if you are interested. Also, we have a lot of successful grads out there - if anyone is interested in donating a raffle prize or becoming a sponsor of the race - we'd love to have you.

Guess who's back, back again, doby's back, back again. Hey JY give me a call if you need any help with the outing. As far as a hotel with a bar you can always go to the Royal Park Hotel. That is directly downtown and has a bar inside. The rooms are a little pricey, but what the hell its our 20 yr reunion. The good thing about that hotel is that it is walking distances to everywhere in downtown Rochester. I am sure that if enough people stay there they will give a discount on a block of rooms. Of course that means another sign up sheet. lol.
K on another note Tex and I have been discussing and its time for us to start drunk conferencing again. We decided to give it a rest for a little bit because to many people were looking forward to the calls. lol. If you would like us to give you a drunk conference please send Tex or I your phone number. lmao. The calls will be random and may be recorded. :)
Thanks

No LUBO? What the fuck.

If the event is dry... dry martinis, dry red, whiskey and cananda dry. Whatever the deal is? We can handle it. Fastest 18 ever. Tiger style.

Doby- I look in but have not posted too much lately. I am still pissed at Volpe for not including me in his foursome (golf). I hope everyone is doing well. Let's hope our automotive companies can get through this and weather the storm.

Danielle,

Sounds great about the email. The run sounds fun and I would love to do it but I may need Ken McClain to pull me in a wagon while he is running if it is the day after the golf outing. Ken....can you do that...haha

Thanks,

Joe

Wow! It is a ghost town here. Reminder to all classmates that find classmates on facebook...

Tell them about this site as I am sure the committee would love a real head count and also like to fill in the missing gaps of information.

I am doing it as well. :o)

Joe-Send me detailed information on the golf outing, and as Danielle said, we will send out a mass email. Sorry I have been out of commission for a while, trying to keep my company going in Michigan! Ugh.
Ed T.-We are already ready to send out emails to the class through this system, and we're trying to keep everything in one place for obvious reasons.
Sherri-Thanks for the post. We are still trying to get the other graduates notified. Keep up the good work.

Danielle,

I am interested in the race you were discussing. Do you have any additional details on this? If so, could you post them on here? Thanks.

For those who knew, and for those who didn't know......we were in the process of finding "our first home" purchase for about a year. We found a house about a month ago or so and waited a couple weeks to put in our bid, after a million questions and details, and a few counter offers.....as of 7pm tonight, our closing is FINAL!!!!! I am so flipping excited. Still in Eastpointe, but couldn't pass it up for the price...once we're moved in and renovated and situated, I will be having a gathering...so keep your eyes open!
