Yes scott was killed along with his family a few years back I went to school with his brother Jeff Class of 1986 and lived down the street. His Mom and Dad still live in Shelby on Mound Rd. just around the corner from their old home on Thorneycroft. Submitted by Mary's Husband.
Scott was one of the greatest of men that I had a chance to be great friends with. I feel I speak for Matt Holmes, Brian (Paul) Williams, Matthew Greimel, and myself Andreas Weith. He died in Mio a day after Thanksgiving of 1993 with his very loved step son Christopher (which he was the real dad to) and Dawn his wife.They married just a few months before, but dated for awhile. Black ice was the cause on a two lane and a semi.Not a day goes by that he is not missed by his friends.At Matthew Greimels cottage last summer we gave Scott a tribute to how much we missed his presence, with his favorite hat.Hopefully Williams is wearing it right now (they loved hunting together)! Scott got robbed at life,but smiling down.
