Kim had the most amazing sense of humor, she used to make me laugh until the tears poured out of my eyes and my belly would just ache.

I had known Kim since elementary and she loved the stage and was a good actress. She really felt at home when she was performing. I wish peace and happiness for her and her family and friends

It would be great if someone knew what happened to Kimmie. She was a great person who was always smiling. What a sense a humor! We had so much fun in drama club with all its antics.

Kimberly Sue Wall-Aldrich, age 34, passed away suddenly on Mother's Day - May 14, 2006. Beloved wife of Richard Aldrich; Beloved Daughter of Leonard & Doris Wall; Loving daughter-in-law of Ann and the late Roger Aldrich; and Loving Sister of Betty Ann, Debbie, Christine, Donna, Virginia, Leonard, Dennis W, Dennis M, Douglas, and the late David. Kimberly was adored by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She loved animals and enjoyed the companionship of her dog Shanny, and her cats Missy and Mitten.

Kimberly met the love of her life, Richard Aldrich, on a blind date to a Red Wings game in November 2001. They were engaged on Christmas Day in 2003 and were married on Sweetest Day -- Saturday, October 16th, 2004 before family and friends in Rochester, Michigan on what was the happiest day of her life. Kimberly loved children and always wanted to have them but unfortunately the Lord called her home to Heaven before she had the chance to be a mother. She would have been an excellent mother as she was always doting on her many nieces and nephews and her friends' children and loved and cherished them more than anything in the world.

After an auto accident in 2002 Kimberly had a titanium rod placed in her back to repair damage from the accident. She subsequently endured 3 more back surgeries hoping to alleviate the intense pain that she faced daily and so that she might be able to once again function as a "normal" person. Being the kind of person that she was she always found ways to make others more comfortable with her situation. In fact, she used to joke that she was like a weather barometer and could forecast rain by the way her back felt on a given day. Unfortunately these surgeries were not successful in repairing the damage done and she faced much pain up until the time of her untimely death.

Kimberly loved life. She always had a smile on her face and had many words of care and encouragement for anyone she came into contact with. She especially loved her family and spent lots of time with her mother and father and especially her sister Donna and brother Dennis. Kimberly was very outgoing and made friends just about anywhere she went. Her best friend since high school was her friend Brett. She always spoke so highly of him and enjoyed the times they were together. She had the opportunity to visit both Seattle and British Columbia while in his company.

Unfortunately she passed away only 12 days before she was to go to England with Brett and his mother and Kimberly and her mother. This was a trip that she was so looking forward to. Kimberly was instrumental in beginning and running an X-Files online fan club in which she became close friends with many of the women who joined the group. In fact the minister that married her and Richard was her friend Rose Vanden Eynden from this group and two of her bridesmaids, Gail Accardi and Sally Johnson-Wellbrock, were also members of this group.

Kimberly will always be missed by those whose lives she touched – whether family or friends she loved them all. There is a special angel now in Heaven looking down on all of us and her name is Kimberly. We love you Kim and we will never ever forget you.

Kimberly's funeral was handled with dignity through the Pixley Funeral Home in Rochester, Michigan. Kimberly was buried in Mt. Avon Cemetery in Rochester, Michigan. Memorials to the Michigan Humane Society appreciated.
