Obituary for Troy:

Troy L. Clapp II, 54, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Miller's Merry Manor in Rushville.
Born May 17, 1963 in Shelbyville, he was the son of Troy L. Clapp and Anne E. (Flaitz) Clapp.

Survivors include- sisters Jana Favors (husband David) of Shelbyville, Dianna Henzman (fiancé Larry Kuhn) of Shelbyville, Michelle Smith (husband Scott) of Shelbyville, Stacy Fallis (husband Tom) of Waldron; brothers-Darrell Platt of Shelbyville, David Wells of Shelbyville; and is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, infant son Ethan Clapp, and brother Mark Harrison.

Mr. Clapp was a lifetime resident of this area. He had worked in several different factories in the area, and had been an apprentice electrician. He was also a musician and had played in several local bands.
Troy loved playing music, which was his life. He was an animal lover, and an excellent artist, enjoying painting and drawing, working on musical instruments and equipment, and riding his motorcycle.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, December 9, 2017, at Amvets Club, 1413 N. Eastern Avenue, Connersville, Indiana 47331. Burial will be in Van Pelt Cemetery in Shelby County. Memorial donations can be made to the Shelbyville/Shelby County Animal Shelter, Shelby County Cancer Association, or OUR Hospice of South Central Indiana in care of the funeral home.
