Army PFC John Edward Bliner, 24, a former Shelton resident, died July 15 in Vietnam as a result of wounds received in action July 14, his family has been notified. He was a Mason County resident seven years and graduated from Shelton High School (1963). He had made his home in Santa Clara, Calif., four years before entering the military service. PFC Blliner was born Feb. 4, 1945 in Puyallup. A rosary will be held in the Batstone Funeral Home this evening at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. July 25 at Batstone Funeral Home. Burial will be in Shelton Memorial Park. Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Pulsifer, Aloha; two brothers, Horace, Seattle, and Steven, Santa Clara, Calif.; and two sisters, Mrs. Frankie Mork, Santa Clara, Calif., and Mrs. Viola Rouse, Puyallup.
